JAKUB PRZYBOROWSKI
A carpenter by calling. Despite graduating from planning studies at the Warsaw University of Technology, he decided to devote his life to the craft. For several years he gained experience working in various workshops. Currently, he carries out original and commissioned projects of furniture and utility objects in a small studio in Warsaw's Praga district. Jakub is focused on improving his own qualifications, perfecting techniques and expanding knowledge about wood. He shares his skills by teaching at a traditional woodworking school.
“Woodworking is a constant struggle - not necessarily with the material, but more often with yourself.”

PRACTICAL WOODEN STOOLS
IKONIC SERIES OF WOODEN STOOLS OUT OF SAPELE, AFRICAN MAHOGANY QUITE DENSE AND HARD WOOD, RED TO BURGUNDY IN COLOR.
This material when exposed to the sun and oxygen contained in the air, gradually darkens, eventually reaching an intense burgundy tone. Was created first as still for 2 year old Jakub’s daughter- it was to allow her to wash her hands herself. It turned out to be so practical that it currently travels with all family from room to room, sometimes to make it possible to reach a higher shelf, and sometimes to just sit on it.
TREASURE BOXES
Jakub created two design of boxes that are available in SĀR. One long box made out of oak and walnut wood with handcut joints, with intriguing texture on the surface of the lid, made with carving chisels
SAMBAC COLLECTION
The wooden stand for a soap, hand-made by Jakub Przyborowski, is an elegant addition to the Sambac SĀR collection with its simplicity and thoughtful design.
It has a precise cut that allows water to escape, and the hand-milled strips at the bottom, in addition to the beautiful detail, also serve as a heightening function.
