The romantic Sambac collection by SĀR was created based on memories from distant India, the ritual rooted in the culture of this country, weaving jasmine flowers into the hair was the beginning of the story that gave birth to artisan jasmine soap, wooden coasters, woven hand towels and mysterious glass shades on jewelry created in limited quantities.
The complexity of the collection is not accidental, it manifests beauty and celebrates ritual.
Project involves work of two artists and designers closely associated with SĀR, Agnieszka Bar excellent polish glass designer and Jakub Przyborowski designing and making most exquisite and detail wooden collectible pieces.
The glass object designed by Agnieszka Bar is an allegory to the sensual shape of the jasmine flower, shape tells a story and white soft texture of sandblasted glass gives a sense of Bombay morning air, where all begins. Glass is blown and hand shaped.
The wooden piece designed and hand made by Jakub Przyborowski out of american cherry wood that is the plinth to a delicate form, gives sense of stability and grounding to the object.
Shade can be used as a precious hiding place for your jewelry or sentimental findings, or the shade for a small candle. Perfectly being alone without any companion.
