Beautifully woven khadi cotton dyed in reach indigo. Khadi it’s a hand spun and hand woven Indian cotton fabric, became the weapon of the non-violent Indian population against their colonial rulers. Khadi is made by hand in homes in Indian villages, using a cotton yarn spun on a wheel, or "charkha".
There are not many shades of blue that blow our mind, how ever there is one in particular which stands out since thousands of years being in constant use.
Indigo- magical dye of specific blue tone which is defined by the quality and intensity of indigo cake which in natural method is used to start the meticulous process of dyeing.
Dying process which in effect gives the most pure and lavished tone of blue, takes time.
