Nerikomi Block Cat by Tosha Jagad
Nerikomi Block Cat is a take on feline coats. No two cats have the same cat coat and just like cats these ceramic Block Cats too are covered in one of a kind pattern.
Each Block Cat is hand-built using a technique known as Nerikomi, in which unique patterns are achieved by layering and stacking Earthenware and Terracotta clay bodies in various arrangements. The patterns are within the clay body and not just on the surface. They are all one-of-a-kind creations, with no possibility of reproducing identical patterns. Every Block Cat undergoes two firing processes and is finished with a transparent glaze.
Size : 12 x 4,5cm
