Three Pomegranates by HUBA
Series of three vases was crafted to highlight the potential of Lower Silesian clay, which if fired for many hours in a wood kiln, gets a beautiful orange blush - like a fruit in the sun. Some areas of the objects are covered with a thin layer of natural glaze - a result of reaction of wood ash and clay. The raw character of the surface is combined with soft line and subtle neck, evoking a juicy pomegranate.
